Hindi Explanation of the poem ‘The Fountain’

Into the sunshine
Full of the light,
Leaping and flashing
From morn till night!

प्रकाश से परिपूर्ण सूर्य की रोशनी में फव्वारे सुबह से रात्रि तक उछल कूद करते हैं और चमकते रहते हैं।

Into the moonlight,
Whiter than snow,
Waving so flower-like,
When the winds blow!

चांदनी प्रकाश में फव्वारें बर्फ से भी अधिक सफेद होते हैं और जब हवाएं चलती हैं तो पुष्य के समान हिलते हैं।

Into the starlight
Rushing in spray,
Happy at midnight,
Happy by day!

तारों के प्रकाश में फव्वारें, फव्वारें हुए तेजी से आगे बढ़ते हैं। फव्वारें मध्य रात्रि में प्रसन्न रहते हैं और दिन में भी प्रसन्न रहते हैं।

Ever in motion,
Blithesome and cheery, 
Still climbing heavenward,
Never a weary;

फव्वारें सदैव गति में रहते हैं,  प्रसन्नचित्त रहते हैं और उत्साहित रहते हैं । फव्वारें सदैव आकाश की ओर ऊपर बढ़ते रहते हैं और कभी थकते नहीं है।

Glad  of all weathers,
Still seeming best,
Upward or downward
Motion thy rest;

फवारें सभी मौसमों में प्रसन्न रहते हैं सदैव ही सर्वोत्तम रूप में प्रतीत होते हैं। ऊपर की ओर अथवा नीचे की ओर गति करने में ही उनको आराम मिलता है।

Full of a nature 
Nothing can tame,
Changed every moment,
Ever the same

फव्वारे पूरी तरह से प्रकृति से परिपूर्ण होते हैं उन्हें कोई भी नियंत्रित नहीं कर सकता। वे प्रत्येक क्षण बदलते रहते हैं फिर भी एक समान ही रहते हैं।

Ceaseless aspiring, 
Ceaseless content,
Darkness or sunshine,
They element;

फवारें लगातार आगे बढ़ने की अभिलाषा रखते हैं, फव्वारें सदैव संतुष्ट रहते हैं। अंधकार तथा सूर्य का प्रकाश से उनका तत्व होता है।

Glorious fountain! 
Let my heart be
Fresh, changeful, constant,
Upward or like thee!

हे शानदार फव्वारे ! मेरे हृदय को भी अपनी तरह तरोताजा, परिवर्तनशील, स्थिर और आगे बढ़ने वाला बना दो।
