11. Translate the following into English :
भारत के पवित्र धार्मिक साहित्य में आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के लिए भारत के ऋषियों, महर्षियों तथा विद्वानों ने जो नियम निर्धारित किए हैं, वे संसार के इतिहास में अद्वितीय हैं । भारत का साहित्य हरिश्चन्द्र, युधिष्ठिर तथा दशरथ जैसे महापुरुषों के चरित्रों से भरा पड़ा है जिन्होंने सत्य की वेदी पर अपने जीवन की बलि दे दी थी । उन्होंने स्वार्थ की भावना का पूर्ण रूप से परित्याग कर वास्तविक सभ्यता के द्योतक ‘ वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् ‘ के उच्च सिद्धान्त को अपना लिया था । यह वह समय था जब भारतवर्ष समस्त संसार को न केवल अपनी धार्मिक तथा आध्यात्मिक शिक्षाओं द्वारा अपितु विज्ञान, कला – कौशल तथा उद्योग – धन्धों द्वारा उपकृत करता था । भारतीय विद्वता का पौधा, जिसको प्राचीन विद्वानों ने अपने परिश्रम से सींचा था, आज दिनों – दिन सूखता जा रहा है ।
